What they do

Qualifications
- CPR/First Aid; CPI or other de-escalation training
- RBT credential (if doing ABA tasks under supervision)
- Experience with specific diagnoses (ASD, Down syndrome, CP, epilepsy, etc.)
- Background checks; driving record
Scope & boundaries
- Follow individualized care plans; clarify medical vs. non-medical tasks
